Craft Brew Bar StoryGarth’s Brew Bar Progress Update – March

In the last year of the pandemic, we didn’t get to celebrate Madison Craft Beer Week, our one year anniversary or being voted America’s Greatest Beer Bar in Wisconsin by CraftBeer.com. But we won’t let a pandemic stop us from celebrating you for all of your support and the fact that the county is allowing us to open up to 25% occupancy starting Thursday.

Let’s Celebrate With FREE BEER

When: Wednesday 3/10 from 5-7 p.m.
What: Free growler fills of any beer on tap until each keg is kicked. Up to two growlers per person. Must bring your own growler(s).
Why: Because you’re awesome and we appreciate your support. It’s also time to get out with the old tap options and in with the new.

Dine-In Details

Like it is with our outdoor patio, seating inside will be on a first come, first served basis and we will only have roughly 20 seats available.

The rules are the same as you are seeing elsewhere.
– You must wear a mask anytime that you are not seated.
– There is no standing while drinking. You must have a seat to drink.
– No moving any chairs or tables.

We are also holding off on serving food again until capacity is increased. As it was prior to COVID-19, you are more than welcome to bring any food into the bar or have any food delivered.

Hours

Expanding hours will be a very slow process for us as we begin to hire new team members and keep an eye on COVID-19 cases and vaccination numbers for the state and county. And if we learned anything from last year, it’s that county restrictions can change at any time with little warning, so we’re treading very carefully.

Right now, we anticipate keeping our current limited hours through March while we interview, hire and train new team members. We’re hopeful that by April 1st (no joke), we will 1.) have a rock solid team ready to serve and 2.) share the news of increased hours.

Current hours:
Tuesday-Friday: 5-7 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: noon-2 p.m.
Monday: Closed

Team Members

Speaking of team members, we are beginning to interview for beertenders and a bar manager again. If you know anyone interested in a role with us, feel free to have them reach out to me at garth@garthsbrewbar.com

Wisconsin Beer Box

Ya’ll loved the Beer Festival In A Box and Fe-Brew-Ary Beer Box that we would be out of our minds not to keep making them. This time, our focus is on supporting Wisconsin breweries, so we’ve put together a Wisconsin Beer Box with 12 mystery Wisconsin brews in each box for $45.

You can reserve your box by emailing beerme@garthsbrewbar.com.

Oh, and if that’s not incentive enough. There is one Wisconsin Beer Box that we stuffed with double the amount of brews. Think you’ll be the lucky one to get it?
