Long before I even thought of opening up Garth’s Brew Bar on Monroe Street, I was impressed with the number of places on the street that had ties to beer.
Walk into a coffee shop and they have beer available. Pick up a pizza and enjoy a beer with it. Head to Mystery To Me and get a beer-themed puzzle. Drop in to Orange Tree Imports and come out with a Wisconsin-themed beer glass…
The list can truly go on and on – and at the same time I realized this, Atwood neighborhood had coordinated a beer festival and I thought to myself, how great would it be if Monroe Street had a Craft Beer Week?
And here we are, celebrating the inaugural Monroe Street Craft Beer Week, November 8th through November 14th with more than half a dozen merchants on the street participating with their own events and specials, listed below.

November 9: Drekker is visiting for a tap and cooler invasion for Trivia night
November 10: Full Mile Beer Company is popping up with some crowler sales of their best brews. We’ll be raffling out an entire case of beer (one raffle ticket per pint purchase) and Noosh Pierogi’s will be available.
November 11: We’re releasing the Mocha Porter “Tales From The Cup” we brewed with our buddies at Oliphant along with a couple other special Oliphant tappings. Melted food truck will be available, too!
November 12: We’re breaking out our beer infusor to infuse gingersnaps into a cream ale. Not only that, but we’re running a $2-off crowler special and double punch crowler club card special (buy one crowler, get two punches – 10 punches gets you 1 free crowler of anything on tap)
November 14: PJ day – come in your PJs and drink any draft for only $6.
