Trivia at Garth’s
Hosted by America’s Pub Quiz every Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm. Free to play, walk in, grab a flight, gather a team (or just bring your one weird friend who knows everything about Wisconsin geography). Prizes for the top finishers — usually a bar tab.
No reservation. Tables fill up around 5:45 — show up early if you want a good spot.
What else we host
Brewer meet-and-greets
Visiting brewers from Wisconsin and around the country pour at Garth’s, talk about their beer, and answer the room’s questions. Free to attend; we announce them via newsletter and Instagram.
Cicerone-led tastings
Garth runs themed flights (Wisconsin breweries, hazies, sours, lagers, NA) for groups large and small. Book one via the tastings & trainings page.
Beer launches
Rhinegeist, Humble Forager, Hidden Springs, Fair State FSB series — Madison gets these because Garth’s brings them in. Watch the Instagram and newsletter for the next drop.
Monroe Street Craft Beer Week
Every November, the whole Madison beer scene goes up a gear. Garth’s hosts collab pours, takeovers, and tasting events all week. Schedule posted in late July.
First Friday on Monroe Street
First Friday of every month, the whole street stays open later. We pour the same as always — and our 4 oz flights become 8 oz when you mention the First Friday deal. Read the First Friday walking-route post.
